The view makes time stand still.
So that you can relax and enjoy our renowned hot springs while taking in a panoramic view of the distant Sagami Bay,
we have prepared two open-air baths with scenic views.
Here in Izu, a historic hot spring resort whose name derives from “the land where hot springs flow.”
As you surrender yourself to these renowned hot springs, the vast Sagami Bay spreads out before your eyes.
During the day, the sunlight sparkles, and at night, the moonlit sea surface appears in a magical glow.
The surface of the open-air bath blends seamlessly with the ocean and the vast sky,
creating an “infinity” experience that feels as though it extends endlessly, filled with a sense of openness.
After enjoying the hot springs, you can also rejuvenate your mind and body in the sauna.
After your bath, it’s delightful to relax in the salon or feel the gentle breeze on the terrace.

At Izusan, where En no Gyōja—the founder of Shugendō—is said to have practiced asceticism, worship of Izusan Gongen spread widely. Minamoto no Yoritomo, who was exiled to this area following the Heiji Rebellion, devoted himself to Izusan Shrine alongside Hōjō Masako; he later established the Kamakura Shogunate and became Seii Taishōgun.Izusan is, so to speak, the stage for the myth of imperial authority in the Eastern Kingdom. Since then, it has been revered by the Hōjō clan and the Tokugawa shoguns, accumulating a rich history. The Izusan area is also located in the Izu hot spring region, whose name derives from “the land where hot springs flow.”
